I have embarked on a journey much like a marathon - graduate school. Graduate school I hope will sharpen my focus when it comes to my training. I've already started increasing my miles to levels I have always failed at in the past and seen smaller successes as a result. That does not mean that getting up at 6am on a Saturday or 5am on a Sunday for speed work or long runs is any easier. However when those mornings happen, like they did today I do/remember the following:
I also plan ahead - if the clothes are on the bed or shelf next to you there is no excuse for not doing if after you watch the video above. Remember the year starts anew every day, not just January 1, you can start a new journey.
