I became a vegan over a year and a half ago for a handful of reasons. I loved it, I felt better, I controlled everything that entered my mouth. And there in lay a problem, control. I know now that a large reason for my choice then was a way to regain control of my life externally though the internal and indirect external environments were chaotic. Recent events have forced me for my own health to relinquish the control and allow my body to ebb and flow freely within this time frame while I address all those things I was indirectly controlling.
So what does that all mean for you and for me? Well there will be blogs with some non-vegan ingredients, but I will make sure there are vegan equivalents. Some of the recipes may not be feasible in day to day - I spend a large majority of my weekends cooking for the week. I do promise no meat recipes as well that's still an issue for me.
